Alright smoke some and relax, I'll try and help you. Are you sure it's not leaking out of the valve because you didn't close it tight enough? Tell us what area you have checked for leaks so far. ie master cylnder....etc. Try to be more specific.

I can't sell her.

Well it drips off of the line thats feeding the cylnder.

I said screw it, im going ot take her to Satan Monday, i don't have the time, nor the toosl for this crap. bye bye new alarm system:(

Wait, you're almost there, it culd be something easy. Is it dripping from the banjo fitting or from somewhere higher up? You might just need new crush washers or upgrade to ss clutch line.

i know this is way off base, but how to do you bleed the clutch fluid. Or drain, same as transfer case?

thks tyler

Which cylinder? The master or the slave? If it's the master, you may have to put in new line like I did. It took about an hour and it wasn't too bad. Just go to napa and buy 7 feet of brake line and then just bend it with your hands.

There's a bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. You have someone pump the clutch a few times and hold it on the floor. With the clutch held to the floor, you loosen the bleeder screw until pressure is gone, then tighten it back up before telling your clutch-jockey to let go of the clutch pedal and pull it up off the floor with his/her hand. Then you repeat until all air is gone. It's just like brakes, except the clutch pedal remains on the floor when the pressure is released from the bleeder screw.

Hey, Drew. Were you the one that cut his clutch line and installed a rubber hose that popped off? I was wondering how the hardline install would be. If it was you, I'm glad to hear you got it done wihtout too much trouble. :thumb:

yup! That was me. The hardline wasn't too difficult to install at all. It took me about an hour. The only difficult part was getting the damn line under the intake mani because I didn't want it laying out looking ugly. I'm actually in the process of talking to a company who will make me 6.5 feet of stainless steel braided hose with the proper pipe threads on each end to replace the ghastly (in my opinion) job that I did.
