fuel pump maybe ?

just put the turbo in but when i was taking it to the garage it was stubling like it wanted to stall no it wont start in less i spray starter fluid in the t/b any help would be great thanks

It could be boost leak.

huh a boost leak could not let my car start thats odd didn't now that .

but why would it only start if i spryed starter fluid in there is the fuel pump or injectors or maybe the fuel filter or all hell who knows its a dsm


who knows a good way to cheack each so i could narrow it down to what it is

if it's just now acting up after the turbo install i'm going with a boost leak. it may start with starting fluid cause it has a really low flash point. sure the car shuts off after a second or 2 right?

it was starting to stible and stall out when i got it to the garage b4 the new turbo was put on so i dont think its aboost leak

Make sure clamps on the intake pipe for mas and turbo are nice and tight. Just do boost leak test anyway. Process of elimination.

ok got over to the garage to day and it started rite up why how i dont know i vented the bov and reved it up and dam it runing stong couldnt take it out for a drive dont have rims for it yet siting on 4 donuts but now new prob


the turbo is leaking from the oil return line the gasket wont seal its the old one

the turbo is leaking from the oil fed line at the turbo not at the head

the turbo is leaking coolent from both inlet and outlet

ive got them all tight as i could with out breaking them and not striping them is there a selent i could buy to help this out at all the guys at auto zone said


( i dont know anything about turbo oil )

wow they shouldnt hire some of them ppl yes i told him in detail what i was looking for over and over agine so any help would be great thanks sorry so long

1. You should've told us you were venting right from the start.

2. Get new gaskets for the return line.

3. You need new copper crush washers for the others.

no im not venting i vented just once just missed the oold talon so i wanted to here it



were do i get new crush walshers and were do i get the oil return gasket

They should have everything you need or you can call the dealer and get ripped off.

if you need oil return line, just go to the dealership. I bought one for a 2gen for only $18 with two gasket. I check out that website given a they sale one for $50, NOWAY.
