We put an EVO 4 motor into a 96 GST, it was the 7bolt evo motor, only difference between it and the 2g was the CAS sensor. We wired it up how RRE recommended to do so swapping around the injector firing sequence around. The car never ran properly before we did the swap, crank walked on it, so the previous condition of the car was unknown.

The problem is, #1 injector is not firing at all, I have swapped injectors around, swapped ECU's, and swapped resistor packs and it didn't fix the problem, we then tested voltage, swapped the #2 and #1 injector plugs with each other and #2 didn't fire then, but #1 did.

Does this seem to be a problem with the injector harness? Am I able to replace the injector harness alone, or do I hae to replace the whole engine harness?

Thanks for your help

How did you get around the problem of having everythingon the wrong side? Since only the EVO I-III motors will go into a DSM.
