Thud after launching

After launching theres 2 thuds comming from the rear. The car drives perfectly fine any other time without thuds or other excessive noise. Could this just be happening from low/dirty fluid?

Probably not. It doesn't make sense that your fluid will suddenly get dirty or that your pre-existing dirty fluid would just happen to pick now to say "Hi, I'm dirty." A simple solution would be to drain it a fill it up with clean fluid. If it still thuds, you have more serious issues. Where does it sound like it's coming from? Does it thud all the time? Does it thud while going in a straight line/turning/accelerating/braking?

Alright, I see your point ADrewzki, It's been an extremely long time since I've launched it and I read some older post about how this would happend do to low/lsd fluid. Anyways, no it only thuds when I launch (even during hard 1st gear accel. it doesn't thud) and it turns and drives perfectly normal any other time.

It is your carrier bearing slamming around in the "carrier". There is a hole on the bottom of the u joint wehre you can conveniently pump a tube of black 100% silicone into to solve the issue. Sean
