Ok ive been trying to figure this out for a bit now. Basically I had my tranny taken out an put back in and when i got it back it wasnt cycling. Dsmlink reads 1.1. It always reads 1.1. It doesnt matter if it is at idle or while driving. It is a brand new sensor so I dont think it is that. To make sure that it wasnt the o2 sensor i disconnected the sensor and dsmlink still read 1.1. It doesnt matter if the sensor is plugged in or not. My a/f gauge doesnt have anything lit up either. Its completely black. Not sure if anyone has any ideas. I already tested the wires around the plug to make sure the plug is good where the o2 sensor plugs in and its not that.

If anyone has any ideas how to diagnose this or any ideas at all that would be great. I mean something must have happened while the tranny was getting taken out or getting put back in.

Thanks

Scott

From Chilton's DSM manual:

*Note, if you can get aholod of part # MD998464, it'll go smoother, if not, you might have to try some jury-rigging.

1. Check for continuity (about 12V at 68*F) betwen terminals 1 (Red) and 3 (Blue). If no continuity, replace the sensor.

2. Start engine and let warm up to operating temperature.

3. Use jumper wires to connect terminal 1 to positive side of battery, and terminal 3 to negative side of battery.

4. Connect multimeter between terminal 2 (black) and 4 (white). While racing engine, measure voltage. It should vary between .6 and 1.0 volts. If not, replace the sensor.

To test the rear sensor:

1. Use multimeter and check for continuity (12V at 68*F) between terminals 3 and 4. If no continuity, replace sensor.

thanks for the reply. Its def not the sensor though. It has to be something else....not sure though. Im searching...LOL
