yesterday i got my boost controller from q-boost and hooked it all up and took it for a drive and boost only went to 13 so i turn the allen bolt and it still didnt go past 13 so i tried 2 more times and didnt go past 13. any ideas?

do you still have the stock exhaust? and the stock cat?

does your car feel like it pulls hard when you turn up the boost? if not, maybe your cat can be getting clogged, or some vacuum line is setup wrong... double check.

Try this, disable the MBC by connecting the source (turbo outlet) directly to the wastate actuator. Go for a drive, it should hold at around 14psi. Now remove the hose and plug up the turbo outlet nipple, go for a drive and see if it go passes 14psi. Be carefull with the throtle just give it enough to go pass 14 psi. Do not go WOT, that thing could shoot up to 24psi pretty quickly. If it doe not, check for boost leak. If it does, Double and tripple check your MBC set up.

whats the safest amount of boost i can turn up in a stock 1g with a refreshened head, new valve job, all new seals.

You have an aftermarket boost gauge, right? I didn't see that mentioned in your mods list or anywhere in this post.

I am 100% sure he is reading the ECU controlled boost guage and is boosting well over 13psi of boost. Matter of fact, is your turbo screaming now? Can you really here it?

so you were saying your only going13 psi cause thats what your stock one said? those aren't accurate at all, you coulda been well past 13 and not known it
