Stupid lil light problem...but its kickin my ass!!??

The car is coming together nicely. I went to hook up my gauges, so i read the vfaq.

I strip the wires and hook them up

Ii get a new dimmer thinking that may be the problem...still nothing :thumbdown


I take another look and my gauges arent lighting up at all!!! As far as i can tell they have never been removed and tampered with so i take them out and look for burnt fuses or what have you.

I take a cloth and wipe off the two connection points back there

all the fuses in the car are in good shape and everylight inside and outside of the car works fine.

do yall think the problem could lie in here?

i took my boost gauge and hooked it up to a battery and the light shined bright so all i can think is that the gauges arent getting any power whatsoever.

I need a fix for this, its killing me.
