Studdering at about 5500rpms

I get a really bad studder at like 5500rpms in 1st and 2nd it feels like a rev limiter or something but there is no way it could be that. any ideas for me to check out i cant think of anything.thanks

sorry to jack your thread but i am also having the same problem at 2000 rpm. I drive it normally and the car gets to 1.6k rpm and then slows down going to 2k rpm. when it hits 2 it studders sometimes and when the car build boost it also studders. what could be the problem??

Running too rich or a boost leak are usually the culprits of this problem.
