I just got the car and did the emissions removal and EGR block off. Do i need to reset the ECU cuz I didnt. Ever since then the car keeps stalling once and awhile. I notice sometimes it idles great and some times it struggles to idle. Is it possible the idle switch is bad and how do you test it?

It happens once and awhile. Like I can drive for 30 mins and it will stall like 2 times but I can tell it stuggles cuz the way the car sounds and the idle will drop to like 400-500 and stall. Only happens at a stop and on the highway its fine. No miss fires or anything. Ground is connected so I know its not that. Is it possible to just adjust the throttle body to make it idle slightly higer so the car wont stall? What I usually do is hold the gas slightly and let it idle around 850-950. Car doesnt struggle and it idles fine but if I let go and let the car try to idle itself it stuggles and adjusts or just shuts off once and awhile. Last thing I want to do is send it to a shop so does anyone have a suggestions?

Do a search on "Idle surge", that should answer some of your questions. You can adjust the idle by screwing in/out the BISS screw located on the top of the Throttle body. Good luck.

Why would you make a post and ask should i reset the ecu?
By the time you type it you could have already done that and maybe not waasted some bandwith....
Thne if that doesnt work THEN make a post.

I think i got it. I adjusted the BISS via VFAQ.COM instructions. Before when coming to a stop the rpms would dip significantly to about 500 and the car would struggle. I redid the biss and went around the block a few times and now the car doesnt dip past 750. It stays rock solid. I hope this fixed it cuz I have yet to drive for a longer period. Hopefully I fixed the stalling issue. OMG
