Transmission Grind???

WHen I start my car I hear a grinding sound but when I depress the clutch the sound stops then restarts when I let off the clutch. So is my clutch going bad or is it the transmission??? Or what else could it be

More then likely your Throwout Bearing.

you might need a new return clip... which pulls the throwout bearing back after ingagement.
