need help please wierd diagnosis

the car is a 91 gsx it starts fine and runs fin at first...then the car warms up like normal everyday driving conditions..not overheating just warm like normal, then the idle starts either to jump up or when you let off the gas it drops down so low it will turn off? can someone help

Test out the IAC or TPS sensor, incase you don't know what they mean,
IAC - Idle Air Control
TPS - Throttle Position Sensor

They tend to go bad and make the idle weird, and make the car stahl out.

exact same thing happened to me...there is an easy fix and a hard fix. pop the hood, and on your throttle body, adjust the sensor that has 2 nuts on it. theres a wire connection on the top, take that off, and use a wrench to adjust those two nuts, either up or down. (im not sure what thats called btw) that worked for me for a little while, then my ECU started to make the tell tale sign of going bad. it started clicking. i now beleive that the idle issues were originally caused by the ECU going bad. if your ECU is going bad, which they pretyt much all do, be ready to drop some serious cash
