Engine keeps throwing alternator belts

So yeah, recently the car just doesn't wanna hold timing belts. I put one on and not even a few miles the alternator belt i assume breaks and disappears. This is alternator belt #4 now, i'm pretty sure i'm doing the procedure right, anyone have any thoughts about what it could be?

Sounds like it's misaligned. Make sure the pulleys are in line.

It's also a possibility that your harmonic dampener on your crank pulley is ready to bite the dust. As they age, they wobble and will chew up your belts faster. Just check it as a good precaution and don't tighten down the belt so much.

I start it up and watch it and everything seems to be in-line.. but i'm thinking maybe the crank pulley assembly is coming apart

Timing or Alternator? They aren't the same thing.

Your harmonic balancer has died, replace.
