Car randomly will/not start?

After recently having an ACT 2100 installed my car ocassionaly won't start. The battery is fine and I believe the starter isn't the problem. When it decides not to start it won't even turn over. I'm assuming a wire for the electrical system is loose?

On my first DSM, the starter developed a blank spot, so every once in a while, the starter would be on a certain spot on the flywheel and not start. It COULD be a loose wire, but if its not, I'm betting the starter is going.

Unhook your battery cables and clean the connectors and battery terminals good. See if that fixes your problem.
