.... AND THEEENNNN lots of sparks hehe
erm but seriuosly now

at first there was no power at all anywhere on the car
so i started taking off the posts to test the battery and wha la
disconnect neg and reattach and we got power again

go inside and start to fire up the car and soon as it clicks to on

just one bom no turn over no start nothing just dead

until the battery comes off and goes back in

optima redtop battery and it claims its still charged

what can be wrong i checked all the underhood fuses from ignition back around to the ac units even
havnt checked those by the drivers side but i dont see how one of them can make the whole power shut off anyway

welp thanks i hope someone has a clue for me

now with light out i checked all the interior fuses and the fuel rewire fuse everything checks out

could it be i fried the wire its self ?

and when it switches to on it hmm i dont understnad electricity well enough to diagnois this
i also dont understand how cars utilize the battery enough i know the battery starts the car the alternator runs it (charges battery) and the battery helps with aditional load when the alternator cant support it

but why would when i turn the key all the way to start with the battery just zip be done with act like there's no connection or battery even there?

args very frustrating for once i need my car working by tommarrow since the girlfriends out of town

Maybe yur starter's done. When my starter went it gave no warning and all it did was go click when the key was turned. Unfortunatly the only way to test the starter is to take it out and have it tested at napa or something. This doesnt sound like Ive answered your problem yet. Iginition switch? Maybe you need to replace the ignition switch. pull and check the ECU aswell. If it smells like fish you need some work.

Actually you can test teh starter itself still on the car, by bypassing the circuit.
Get a jumper wire (bigger gauge is better, so it doesn't burn up on ya) and put on the postive post of the battery and put it to the pos post on the solenoid of the starter.
This should enage the starter.

I would also check your starter relay, PNS, and fuseable links.(If its not the starter)

sounds like your starter to me. do any of your dash lights come on when you try to start the car?
