ok so i had to replace my window b/c it got bashed out . Well now just my drivers side door will not lock . The passegner does but the drivers does not . It clicks over to lock and then it automatically unlocks. I have no clue why . I have both door panels off and im looking at each of them lock . It looks the same.

Mine did this when I first got it. It looked like it was all good but upon further inspection The door that wasnt locking in the area where the door lock and the handle connected via a plastic connector was not seated. It was catching on the arm to give it movement but wasnt in the right spot. Snapped it in and good to go. However since you have already looked them over I assume your problem is different.

Ok where is this connector thing your talking about . This also might be the problem . Cause when i was watching both of them . The one that wouldnt lock had alot more movement than the one that did.

lets assume it is on the passenger (where mine was). After removing the door panel it was in the top right hand corner. However I couldnt see it cuz its behind the metal innards of the door. I needed a flashlight and a small hand helps. I cut mine cuz its a tight fit but it can be done. So where it was supposed to seat in it was attached(since its hook like) to the other side.
