I have a '95 Talon TSI,82k on it. 6 Bolt swap, 1st gen rods,2nd gen pistons, and this happened yesterday, and thought i kinda had the prob. fixed, but anyways...yesterday i was driving in traffic, and a small hose cracked, it is just about 3in. long, and has two hose clamps on it,and a bolt in the end,it's just blocked off. so i fixed it. but ive just recently purchased the car, (two days ago) and i have oil circulating through my coolant..and my oil is just emptying into it...By some of the posts ive read, i'm thinking head gasket, but could it be cracked block or head as well? my car did not have an overflow on the car when i bought it, so it has the hose and no bottle, and it got above operating range this morning, started steaming and i pull over, and its got an oily water mixture spewing out of the overflow...just a mucus looking oily green pastey look.. can someone clarify this, and see if im on the right track? i have warranty on the car, and it should take care of it...also a friend was following me and told me that i was puffing out some white smoke. so also, how much is the procedure to replace a head gasket? (1st time DSM owner) thanx guys for any light you can shed onto this..
