Dead S-AFC????

I am trying to hook up my S-AFC and i followed the pin outs from slowboyracing. But when I tried to start my car it didnt start. The engine would turn over but thats it. The S-AFC did not light up or anything. Is there a possibility that the AFC is dead. I did get it used but the pervious owner never installed it any ideas?
