alrite. So this is my second rebuild of my head. i was dinking around after i got the head bolted back on and i realize that my oil pump sproket was kind of hard to turn. it took some effort to turn it.
Is my oil pump bad? or is it just because there is no oil in the car at the moment? or is it the cold?
Just thought id ask before I either #### something up or have to go buy a new oil pump.

well guys, the sprocket felt like it was.... hmm im not sure what to compare it too. i could turn it with my hand without straining. i just wasnt sure if it was supposed to spin freely. there is definite fricition. its too hard to explain with words
it felt about as tight as a bolt feels as it starts to get deep enough into the thread to use a wrench.... that might help.
