Think i broke my engine ... :(

Ok, so my friend was driving my car through some water, and it stalled. It wouldn't start back up. I get it towed to my house. 3 days later i try to start it, it just clicks over. So i try and push start it, it doesn't even crank over, it just like hits pretty hard and goes backwards. Than my friend tries to start my engine. It made a really loud clunking sound. Now i try to push start it a couple more times, nothing happens, not even any sound from the motor. I think the motor is seized up?

checked my oil, that is ok. What should i do?, brand new battery and terminals and all that stuff by the way.

How big of a puddle? Sounds like hydrolock to me.

Nice to let it rest those three days.

Pull the plugs, crank it over. If water geysers out, start motor-shopping. If not, do a compression check. Then try starting it again.

ya you proble got to much water up into the intake, rebuild time

Yeah, check the cylinders first. Remove the plugs and crank it over several times. I would probly spray some starting fluid in there or something and try and start it. If she doesn't go, start shopping.

Ok, all i here is a click though when i try and start it. So if i take out the plugs and plug wires, would it make more than a click? it doesn't crank over.

What would i have to buy if i got hydrolock? A whole new engine, new head, new top or bottom end? i don't know.

make sure your battery still has sufficient juice..
