Please help, i found a car

I have found a guy selling a 1990 gsx in very good condition, with low mileage, the car runs, but since he put the new turbo and new head, got new one because timing belt slipped and screwed up the head, the car runs, but when you push on the pedal fast, the car turns off, but when you rev it slowly, it runs fine. My parents won't let me get the car if it dosn't run right. He thinks that the throttle sensor is dirty or something like that. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated

It could be many things, try unplugging the mass air flow sensor. Is there a "check engine" light on? Automatic or 5 speed? Give us the most info you can.

The car he has is a 90 eclipse gsx. It has 76,000 miles on it, pretty good condition, 5 speed. a new big 16g turbo. has an apexi s-afc, shows that air and fuel are coming in fine. Thinks that it is the sensor because the sensors for the apexi gauage shows it's coming in. Has rebuilt motor,
*New Piston Rings
*Head work by a machine shop.
*New valve
*New head gasket
*New Timming belt
*New brakes (all 4W...pads and rotor)
*NEW BIG16G PORTED!!!!
*Apaxi S-AFC
*VDO BOOSt GUAGE

doesn't know if he just missed a wire or if the sensor is bad or something else. Can you please help, this is a good car, and a guy from jersey is going to come friday and buy the car if i don't get it.

No engine light, just truns off when you rev it fast

Has the car ever been tuned after the rebuild? I could just be an adjustment on the SAFC.
