Sometimes when I am on the freeway, usualy around 50 or 60, and I give the car about half throttle it kinda jerks then if I let off and try again most of the time it will be fine. Just wondering what this could be, stock turbo, stock fuel system, automatic, and running 15-15 psi. I am thinking it might be a boost leak as the 1g bov adapter I have kinda sucks, any other ideas? My logs look good, but this doesn't happen from a stand still to WOT.

How long do plugs and wires last? I put the ones that are on there on at about 52k and now I am at alittle over 70k.

I am going to pull the plugs tomorrow, what should I look for to tell if they are shot? Could semi bad plugs and wires cause this?

A bad plug or wire could cause this and if you bought cheap plug wires when you changed them it is very likley, check the plug wire connection to the coil pack, somtimes the ends get corroded up.
Also check for a boost leak, I find about 90% of the time I have a studder etc. it's a boost leak.

Okay cool, thanks for the help, I will check the wires and plugs tomorrow. The wires are Accel so I dont think they are bad already but I will try the plugs, and also check for boost leaks, like I said that 1g bov adapter makes me wonder. What would the plugs look like if they were on their way out?

Here are the plugs I pulled, let me know what you think..thanks.

As long as they are gapped correct, clean are getting spark and are the right brand and model(nkg brp7's) or somthing like that, mine look whiteish most the time.

I think you are ok as long as you are not so ritch they are wet, plugs can look differant on 10 differant cars that all run great. I really think you need to look into a boost leak.

For stock, use BPR6ES plugs at .028.

Unless something looks drastically wrong -which wouldn't show in those fuzzo... er, photos- just throw the old ones away. They're just too cheap to spend much time thinking about.

Okay thanks, and you are good, I changed them last night, BPR6ES and set them at .028 at this morning the shutter was gone. And you are right I guess they are too cheap to worry about, cost me like $6.00 to switch them out :D

Beauty, it's alway cool to hear when someone wins. Well, other than finding out why their power windows wouldn't work, maybe. :D
