I Have A Rapid Blinker All The Sudden!? help!

All the sudden im driving and my right blinker decides to become rapid?? Its sooo annoying!!!

Weird situation.. I did a search on this topic and someone suggested that the blinker might be burnt out, but its not.. well at least not the front one. That was all the responses on it.

Has anyone had this problem?? help help help

one of the lights is burned out, check all of them on the right side

it will do it if the back ones burn out too. check all bulbs on the vehicle. if all your bulbs check out 100% (and remember there may be more than one perside) then it may be the relay itself.

Funny thing... I had the same problem and was thinking WTF?? There are three other things that can cause this problem:

1- The light is ALMOST BURNTOUT, this is rare but possible.

2- The light has a BAD GROUND, eventhough the bulb is good, if the ground isn't then the quick flashing of the turnsignal can happen.

3- THIS IS WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MINE.... The bulb in the front of the car was turned 180 deg. the wrong way. Basically when I put the bulbs back in after I did the FMIC install I somehow put the bulb in wrong. MINE had TWO elements inside. Weird, I didn't put them in they were there when I bought the car, but I turned it 180 deg. and put it back in and problem was fixed.

Funny, that happen to me a week ago and finally I discover what the problem was (yesterday).
In my case, the ground wire that goes to the bulb was disconected. I weld back in and it work like a charm. If I were you check the whole wiring and be sure it is connected.
It might be a stupid loose wire.

Sometimes my bumper lense pops out of the bumper and its just hanging there, I bet the bulb is either lose or maybe the ground wire got unhooked.. i'll check it out!! thanx again.

Yea just to confirm, it was actually one of the right tail lights were out.. cost me like less than $2 to fix it hehe.. just bought a new bulb and goodbye annoying rapid blinker!
