i guess this is more for information then anything.

Missing

I got a 1g talon awd that was missing during idle. The guy i bought it from told me he just changed the plugs and that they were all good (as of 500 miles ago). well i checked them out and guess what? they were bosch platinums. number 4 was bad. The way i dertermined this was leaving the car idling and pulling individual spark plug wires out to see if it stayed the same or missed more. #4 was the only wire that held the same idle. the others made it miss more. Checked plugs, 4 was dead. New plugs installed, idles fine. yay!

Stuttering past 4000rpm

This took alittle more, but i just figured this one out. The only thing i needed was a multimeter with an Ohms setting, or resistance. the 0 thingy. Anyways i tested all the injectors, 2.6-2.6-2.6-4.8. (in spec is 2.5-3) injector was not working properly. So I believe that means the electricity rolling through line is not enough at higher rpms, causing it to miss. I will give you an update on this when i get a new injector. Hope this helps someone out there. :thumb: peace
