Simply put ,my car is like 3 tenths slower than it should be for my mods.I have good reason to suspect blown head gasket. Based on white smoke and running hot around 230 today.
Will a blown head gasket cause huge powerloss ??

It ran two 16 seconds quarter miles today like 16.1 at 90 mph with like 2.50 60fts.I didnt have the power to even get a better 60ft and the turbo is spooling up at like 4000 and thats where it just starts spooling.

I found a blown gasket between my turbo and exhuast maifold.I used the ring but think you aren't supposed to with the agp but dont' know as didn't get any instructions with it.
The ring obviously didn't help the gasket blowing out anyway.I think I forgot to torue the bolts down enough. Is proper spec 44 ft pounds, should I have used loctite.Should I use lockwashers and antisieze instead?
Anyone know if the agp rs49 uses that ring???

And would this account for massive power loss and almost zero low end response and super slow spool?
