Car shifts without clutch engaged

I just put my tranny back in, now I can shift without pushing the clutch in. I reused my ACT 2100 with new Mitsu TOB. I bled the slave. I also noticed the fork end closer to the driver side when not depressed. When the clutch is depressed the fork end barley goes to the middle. This is my first tranny job.
Any ideas?

I followed a suggestion of getting the car off the jack stands to create a load....That was it. I adjusted the clutch rod and now I'm rolling again.

I just replaced everthing in my bell housing and put it all back together, the wheels spin freely even when I have the car in gear, I haven't taken the car down off the jack stands yet because I'm still working on a few other things, I've been worried that something went wrong; you're saying you had the same problem and that once you got the car off the jack stands the problem went away?
