stopped boosting????

i just got my motor back in after being out since july. anyway, i took it out for a test drive and boost was at about 17 psi. it was HAULIN!!!! anyway, after about a mile when i'd hit the gas it stopped. only went to maybe about 11 psi at the most. don't have any boost leaks that i can tell and i have a 38mm external gate set at the 14 psi spring i believe. so wouldn't think it'd be lower than that but it is. my alternator went bad but don't see how that could cause a problem with boosting issues. any ideas? thanks. list of mods are here.

anyone?!?!? okay, if i had a boost leak with a blowthru setup, would the car act any different? i can't think of any other reasons.....although i'm not thinkin i have any leaks. but i'll have to double check. any ideas would be nice though. thanks!

motor isn't new. just had to pull it cause i had to have the engine welded from where it snapped off cause i found out i didn't have any dowel pins for aligning the tranny. but the logger looked okay as far as knock and all that went. didn't monitor airflow though.

***UPDATE***

okay, i know i didn't get much help on this one but oh well. found the problem. the lower i/c hose blew out of the coupler right below the turbo outlet. could barely notice and the pipe doesn't move much so thought it was tight. anyway, guess it's something to keep in mind for those of ya with blowthru setups. that if you have a boost leak before the maf, it will still run and act about the same but just slower and won't boost. but guess most of ya'll already know this. laters!
