I have recently put on the Greddy-s BOV. A few things I'm concerned about when driving..... First of all, it sounds like it should when I shift. It gives a smooth release, no compression surge. However, if I am hitting the gas, then come off the gas, it makes the "juh juh juh" sound, like its surging.

This is my other issue. When I floor it from 1st through all the gears, the car seems to pull okay. BUT, lets say I'm in 3rd at around 2500k and I hit the gas hard, the tach climbs slow as all hell and the car sounds like its tryin to go faster but cant.

All hoses are secure. I have the bov set with 8 threads showing, as this is what was reccommended by others that have used it. I've tried adjusting the settings harder and softer, but the same effect seems to happen no matter where I set it.

Please hurry with the suggestions because if I do not get this fixed quickly I am going to strap C4 to my car and detonate.....
 
the type s bov has the second nipple on it, if that is not hooked up the bov will flutter that is probable what you are hearing. just splice the second nipple into the actuator line and it will give a nice loud blow off.
 
It's a new bov, and no, the second nipple is not connected, so that may solve the sputter problem, but what about the poor response in 3rd-5th gears at low rpms?
 
If its running rich could be fuel.......all cars seem to go faster from a stop....1st and second are your strongest gears therefore its gonna pull you more......if you recently did anything to fuel or air..(Intake, injectors,regulator) these all may need adjustment
 
Within the next few days I'll be checking for boost leaks and taking a look at the spark plugs. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks guys.
