so my buddy bought mr. poppoffs car the other day and we get it home and the car starts to leak oil. uhh, that sucks. any ways we get under neath the car and we check the lines to the turbo and nothing was leaking, looks like it was coming from the back of the block dripping down on to the exhaust. not quite sure why its doing this. it seems not to leak when the cars under pressure, but when its off it starts to leak. please let me know if any one has any ideas what this maybe.

When my car was leaking from the back of the engine, It was the valvecover gasket. Which then leaked down onto the intake manifold gasket and ruined that, Which then leaked and burned to the inside of the head and ruined my top end. The car useto smoke when i was at stop lights from the oil dripping down onto the exhaust the first day I bought it . I dont know i'm just trying to give you some ideas, Either way, that was always a very nice car.

thank you very much for the info, we just figured it out that was the problem. but we have someother issues with the car as well. when its reading oil pressure when i get on the car it jumps to like a 100. it should only be reading 50 60 tops. so thats another thing. and there was a hole bunch of vacuum line that weren't connected and were just hangin down to the bottom of the car. and the catch can that has to line going to it, one from the head and one for the clean air to the throttle, well the one to the throttle wasn't even connected and there was a sensor near the throttle that wasn't connected either, so theres still work to be done.

Glad you got one problem fixed, I know when it is cold and i first start my car, the oil pressure will jump to 100, or if it settles down a bit and i rev it not even high, it will go to 100, When the car is fully warmed up it does not reach 100 though. The vaccume lines should be an easy fix.
