Ok, when i drive i dont drive like WOT all the time but on those occassions when i want to see my baby's power i will. Well lately i have noticed that if I am in second gear or higher if i step on it, it feels as if i dont get a clean boost. (meaning like it boosts then cuts out, then boosts, and cuts out and then finally i get all the power i would regularly). Could this be a sign of fuel cut, possibly a boost leak or am I looking at something more serious? I have about 58000 miles on the clock and i keep up on all the oil changes. Any suggestions would be great.

thanks :thumb: :talon:

Plugs and wires would be the first thing I'd check.

I'd check plugs first as they are dirt cheap, if you have a wire brush clean off the carbon deposits then (re)gap them at .028 and try it.

If that doesn't work get new plugs and try those with a .028 gap.

If still no avail then try a set of known good plug wires to see if that is the problem.

Then if that doesn't work swap in a known good transitor and/or coil pack.

Thanks guys for your help, it ended up being the wires. I replaced them because i didnt have the proper tool to replace the spark plugs and the car worked perfectly. I was able to hook up with (kinetic boost) and we changed the spark plugs, so everything is now good to go. :thumb: :talon:
