when i floor it and the rpm's get to around 5k, it seems like my powerband is "cut off" right there and on up to 6500 it feels like it has a major loss of power. any ideas? i have searched and can find what im looking for. thanks for you help -Matt

It could be knock,or possibly bad plug wires, every time I have had similar problems it was one or the other.

i have new wires. but yeah i culd be boost leak, it seems kinda like the turbo looses its pull around those rpm's. also at WOT my O2 sensor voltage is at .71 - .78 volts, i think perfect tuned at WOT is around .85 or .88 volts. so i think im running a bit lean...also i ran a scan tool test on it, it came up with code 41 injector circuit signal problem. so i would gues that could mean an injector/s or wiring is messed up somewhere along the harness. which would make it not get enough fuel. hence Leaness.

i edited my last reply, but my boost gauge is at 15 psi i dont know if it holds strong or not. i will check that in the morning.

it is holding boost just fine, i also went ahead and checked all over for boost leak. and there is none.

If boost is holding, move on to others. Check the wires and plugs...etc. Also try to remember what happen right before this problem started, that will usually lead you to the anwser.

ok nevermind its not holding boost now that i watch it closer. and also, the wires a good. i tried turnin my boost down from 15 psi to bout 12 and it still feels like it does it but not as glorified. maybe im maxing my fuel system out? runnin lean and the ecu is pulling the timing? thats my guess. but yeah keep me posted. thanks -Matt

Why don't you have a thermostate? Over heating could be caused by number of things, thermostate, busted fans, fuse....Check them or replace
