hood movement on highway

my hood was moving, well actually shaking up and down while above 100kmh. is this normal or is the latch loose? I checked it and I could pull it up about .5 inches while it was latched down. Can I tighten the latch in any way so it doesn't move? Just don't want it flying up on me while I'm driving.

The latch is held on by three bolts as I recall, two of them on either side are really wide just under the head. If they are replaced with normal bolts the latch will move all over the place. If those haven't been replaced (you'll know hem when you see them), my next guess would be the support that goes from top to bottom in the "mouth" of the fron bumper is gone/loose/damaged. Without that support, the rediator supportthe latch mounts to will be really flimsy.

might also just want to check and make sure that the rubber pads that the hood rests on are adjusted properly
