Alright this morning I went to a friends house to pick something up. He asked me to listen to his car because it started stahling at stop lights. I didn't think he meant when he went to go pull away, he meant when he pushes the clutch pedal down, the car stahls right out.
This is how it goes...
Car is idling. (It has a rough idle to begin with)
Then when you go to push the pedal in for the clutch, it starts to make like a rubbing noise, kind of deeply pitched and loud.
When you press the pedal down all the way, the motor stumbles and then stahls.
If you give it gas it stays alive.
Anyone ever experience the same problem?
Any suggestions?
thanks
