Hey guys i need some help ..... i just bought a 90 talon tsi awd 5-speed a couple days ago. The guy said it needs a clutch so when it arrived i attempted to drive the car and it made the loudest whining noise i have ever heard a car make ...... it felt like a really bad slipping clutch until i went into 5th gear and then the car started to pull decently ..... i did some research and believe the viscous coupling is bad but then i just lifted the car up on jacks tonight and put it in first gear and the car did the following :

I spun the front left tire and only the right front tire spun
I spun the right front tire and only the front left tire spun
Also the driveshaft did not move when i spun either of the front tires ..... i dont know if its supposed to or not

Now when i spun the rear right tire it didn't spin any other tires but does spin the driveshaft for a few seconds and then the resistance gets hard and then the driveshaft doesnt spin anymore.
And last i spun the rear left tire and nothing at all moves, no tires nor the driveshaft .

Im not sure if any of this is normal but it just seems to not be right

Can someone please help me diagnose the problem.

I am suspecting a blown rear end and maybe center differential and or viscous coupling.
