2g gst harmonic noise

All of a sudden my 95 gst is making some sort of harmonic noise under the hood, sounds like it's around the drive belt area. Also a slight metal scraping sounds on that side as well. Only thing messed with in that area is replacing the water pump and timing belt. Anyone might know what it could be or hear of it before? I know it's retarded not explaining a sound correctly but it's hard on this one. Also goes up slightly the more revs it's doing. Car has 83k on it.

Sounds very simalar to a problem I just had. The harmonic balancer ( The belt pully coming off the crank) seperated. There is an inner metal piece and the outer metal pully these are held together with a rubber piece in the middle.

Take off your belts and the harmonic balancer and see if it looks messed up.

tis what i was thinking. another guy from a local dsm board thinks it could be a balance shaft out of phase as well. i'll try taking the belts and crank pulley off this weekend and see if it's that. if anyone else has any other suggestions please feel free to chime in.
