p107 & p1400

CEL came on. Checked codes.. Got P107 - Fuel Trim and P1400 - Drivetrain.. Anyone have any experience with those? I searched the forums, and there are a lot of different things it gives. I'm not 100% sure which to follow.. some little, and some cost a ton...

I don't know where you checked your codes but P0107 is OBD-2 generic for MAP sensor and P1400 is dsm unique for MDP (manifold differential pressure sensor) which is on top of turbo intake manifolds.

could that be why i hear a leaking noise when i pressureize rhe system with the boost leak checker?

outside of the CEL's if you know your system is leaking I would address that first.

How much pressure are you pumping in and how loud is the leak? If your not carefull with those leak testers you can actually cause damage.

pumping 15-20psi in....

leak is noticible....

gonna spray some windex around it later today and see what i can find

havn't had much time to pressurize and listen in a quiet enviorment... work and all...

will try to pressurize today and see what's up and see if i can get my boost back...

how do i fix the p107 and p1400? suggestions?

Fix the leak first. Your asking why the floor is wet and how come the bucket won't stay full of water when there is a hole in the bottom of it. Plug the hole...maybe the other problems are being caused by it.

If the P1400 is indeed a MDP then it sorta makes sense.

they're not exactly easy as night & day to find them
i replaced the mdp sensor anyway... off a parts car
