Whats up everyone. Aight, this is the Problem... Just had my AFC-II installed and the car dyno'd @ Extreme Motorsports in Md. The next day the Check Engine Light came on. Went to AutoZone and they said that the MAP sensor wasnt getting enough power. Everyone i talked to said that nothing is wrong just needs replaced. $80 later, the light is still on. Went off for a second then came right back on. Any ideas...

Also, ever since i had my exhaust installed, and new intake, ive been having a problem with take offs, almost like a choke out, or backfire... Thought maybe too much air or not enough gas, so installed the afc, helped alittle, but still killing me on take offs. And it seems to be when there is to much gas needed, or just barely enough. A normal start doesnt show any signs.. Heard something about maybe needed to install a relay cause the AFC doesnt really read the the correct fuel and air mixtures.. Any ideas?

Get used to it? Sorry, but I've had a MIL for MAP sensor for almost 2 years now and have run out of things to replace. Still got it. Just came on suddenly one day and now I guess I have it for life.

Analogue 1 cost about 12 bucks at Hardware stores....very cool andportable.

ALso that MAS connector is one of the most abused connectors in cars as we change filters etc. on the harnes side of the connector..try to pinch in those contact holes so that they make a firm frip in the pins when you connect it back. As we connect and reconnect, the contact holes get bigger and loose grip of the male side and das when you get lights, buckin stuttttt tttuuuuring and misfirings.

Hope that is all you have to do.

I'm not sure if this is a 1gnt or a 2gnt but if it's a 2gnt then we do not use a MAF and the MAP sensor is out of harms way in this case. But you're definitely right about the MAF connector. I've seen quite a few in rough shape.
