Running rich all the time o2 voltage is.94

Hey guys having another crazy problem my car is running rich all the time the o2 voltage on the o2 sensor is .94 all the time. Goes up and down alittle but it won't move from there when I press the pedal alittle to cruise( should be bouncing back and forth) . I was wondering about th e 2g maf I'm running because some one stole my 1g mas so I have to use a 2g mas but the problem is that I dont have an AFC. I was told I need an afc with a 2g mas so that I dont run rich all the time and at idle. Is this true and could that be it im already on my way yo getting both a 1g mas and a afc but I want to get a opinion from some one else before I do it.

a little searching will tell you that your suspicions are true. you do need some type of fuel or airflow managament (or both would be better) when using a 2gmas on a 1g car. it is larger and calibrated different. some say you can do a 2gmas with 550 injectors and get away without the afc but as always depends on the car.

yea well I changed it on my gut feeling and that was it now the guages acts right and so does the logger just quik verification

Actually, the 2g mas will make it lean, not rich. It flows alot more unmetered air than the 1g mas, thats why you can use it with 550cc injectors with little tuning.

Sorry man i got logger maps showing me running rich o2 voltage of .94 all the time. and its properly wired to. I was back firing and torching flames out my exhuast definitely running right about that time and the 1g mas runs better for now especially with out afc.
