2G fuel pump location

ok this is probablly the dumbest question you have ever heard but i need some help. can someone please show me a pic of the location of the fuel pump. i have a haynes but the pic they show i cant tell if the gas tank is completely off or can you get to it taking out the back seat. i looked for it but i didnt see n e thing. oh and can a fuel pump just go out just like that all of a sudden?
