Okay I just had my clutch replaced and now I am idling at 2k rpms vs my original 700 rpms. On my s-afc it shows that my throttle position is at 5% when it used to be at 0%. The mechanic didn't touch the throttle body he just took off the piping. Can anybody help me trouble shoot the problem?

I've already disconected the neg bat cable and resetted the ecu the problem is still there.
also i dont have a speed controller in there, could that be the problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

The throttle plate is sticking a little bit. Check the Throttle cable to see if its too tight and see whats causing the plate to stick open. Carb Cleaner will also help clean it out. Sometimes if you tap the gas really quick the plate will fully close again.

Bro I have the same problem. I can't idle under 2grand for nothing. Tried everything, I think.

Yeah it almost has to be that the throttle plate is sticking, can you adjust the cable (not sure if you can do this on DSMs?). Did you also get a lightweight flywheel? That would raise the idle RPMs also.

nope only the clutch was replaced, but i dont think the flywheel was resurfaced. could that be the problem?, but still my s-afc shows that my throttle position is at 4.8%-5.2% at idle being 2000+.
