I have the greddy full/auto turbo timer installed in my car. Ive had it about 4 months though it has many different options included in the timer .. the only thing ive ever used it for was timing my 16g. I have had the time preset to 2:00 minutes for the last 3 months and ive not touched it. Its worked flawlessly up until two days ago. I was leaving the old lady's house and when i got home i turned and removed the key. I ended up sitting in the car and putting some cds away and cleaning some shit up before i went inside when i looked down to notice the last 5 seconds tick away. Upon hitting zero nothing happened. I was like WTF!? so i turned off the timer... nothing .. i put down the ebrake ... nothing .. So basically at that point i had a car that wouldnt turn off with any of the sensors and i was starting to get pissed. I ended up having to manually stall the car in 1st to get it off. i messed with the timer a bit to see if it was wiring or what not and had no luck. I noticed that even with the keys out, the car off, and the turbo timer off.. the dash lights were still on..??? some how it was still putting power to the car?? what the heck?? as soon as i unpluged the tt the lights went out and the seat belt retracted. I waited a day and went back to the car to plug it in the next morning. same thing as soon as i plug it in the dash lights went on and the seat belt moved. Some how the timer when connected is putting power to the car... the ### thing is that it will turn on and off like usual as well as count down but the power is always there. I emailed greddy about this to see what they would do about the matter and still havent heard back. I was upset because anyone could have stolen my car cause i wouldnt have known a difference had i not sat in the car. Not to mention none of the sensors worked when tripped so it would have made for an easy theft.

Anyone know what could have happened?? .. or what i should do??

Thanks

my only suggestion would be to manually turbo time it from now on, completely removing the defective turbo timer until Greddy offers up a solution for you.

Thats what im doing .. but has anyone else had this problem or think why it would have happened?

well my problem with the greddy tt is sometimes it doesnt even time my engine. whenever I turn the ignition off the engine just dies but the timer keeps counting down but my lights stays on and i have to turn the timer off in order for the lights to die or whenver the timer finishes its countdown. I checked all my wires time and time again and still cant figure wtf is wrong with the timer. and when the timer does work, right when i turn the ignition off my car revs up to about 2500rpms and then goes back to normal. all my sensors work fine. but rarely my timer works and im about to give up on it and get a hks or something...!!

my greddy full auto timer died too... when i turn off my car the timer and the car turn off like its not there. this happened to me out of nowhere. i just took mine out for now until i can afford a new one. just carry some magizines in your car with you where ever you go to keep you busy for 2 min... :thumb:
