I have a 91 eagle talon non-turbo the problem i'm having is 5 secs after start up it will shut off... I've grounded out pin 7 of my mpi relay and the continues to run and the CEL comes on with alot of smoke out the tail pipe.. I'm in the process of changing my caps but is there something that tells the ecu not to supply that ground after start?? what will forward bias that transister to supply a grd. Is there a schematic on the internals of the ecu??

im haveing the same problem as soon as it starts it shuts off. Some times it will just make a fast clicking noise. Not sure what to even look for. Do you? I was told it could be a bad ecu bad ground somewhere but who no's.. Its a brand new motor so it has nothing to to with that. Ill keep looking and let you know if i find anyting. and if you so let me know thanks. :barf:

It was the ecu, there was an open between pin 56 and ic109 actually it was under cm105 several solder runs are ruined by the cap leaks..
