advanced help needed

(Yes, this is copied from an earlier post. No on responded to the other post, so im trying again.) Hi, my harmonic balancer broke on my 98 GST, so I had it fixed under my warranty at my local mitsu dealership. They replaced the harmonic balancer, all the belts that are associated with replacing the harmonic balancer, the turbo (which had leaking seals), and the transmision mount (which was also bad). I took it easy on my car for about 3 weeks after i got it back, and now when I let it open it feels alot weaker than it did when i took it in. My main logic is this: I used to be able to floor it in 1st and break the tires loose around 5grand, and now my car feels like it is bogging down in the upper rpm range. It is seriously straining to run my car to redline in second. What could be up? PLEASE HELP ME OUT! Thanks -Matt

Sounds like they did a lot of work. I would start by calling who ever you had do the work and let them know what problems you are having. If you are more of a DIY kind of guy then I would start by looking at the turbo. Being that it was replaced there are lots of things that could go wrong. Check the lines that go to the wastegate. See if they are cracked or damaged. You said that the replaced belts did the timing belt get replaced(you didnt say so I thought I would ask) if so that could be an issue as well. The other items that were replaced would not have that kind of effect on you car. Hope this helps, good luck.
