Sorry for the length, but it's a long story:

I discovered awhile ago that I was missing my 10A ABS fuse (the 50A fuse is there) and my brakes sucked. I tried inserting a new fuse, but found that there was no metal clamps for the prongs on the fuse to slide into. I pushed this to the back of my mind until I was putting a new CEL in my dash and found that the Anti-Lock light was also missing. I put a new bulb in the slot and the light has been on 24/7 ever since! So today I took apart the fusebox to check out the wiring. There are no wires running up to that slot in the fusebox! No loose ends anywhere under there either. So then I thought "Maybe I don't have ABS?" but I found what I believe to be the ABS "octopus" behind the driver's side headlight. The second picture is the ABS unit, correct? So now what am I supposed to do? I have 1/2 of my fuses and an ABS unit, so I'm sure I have ABS, but it isn't working. Someone please help before I need to use those Anti-Lock brakes!

There's another control box under the carpet near your passenger seat. Take the carpet off (the farthest towards the dash,) and unbolt the metal plate (4 bolts, 12MM.) There should be a box underneath there.

I honestly don't know if this would help at all, but at least you can know if you have it or not. My ABS light has been on ever since I bought the car, but I just don't care to bother with it :p
