my car is having major cooling problems. so i replaced the thermostat, and it didnt help. After a little drive, then i park and turn it off, the coolent inside the coolant bottle is BOILING! then it comes out the overflow tube. WTF??? Is it my fans? or do i just need a new radiator???

Could be the radiator, the fans, waterpump, heater core, hell it could be the cap but i doubt it. You sure you put enough coolant in it? Its boiling because its way above normal operating temperature and the pressure is releasing it from the bottle. How many miles are on the car?? Make sure your fans turn on when they are suppost too. Only one will turn on and they both turn on when the ac is on. And check your waterpump. If its going bad it will make a chitter chattery noise. Another way to check it is to take the radiator cap off then start the car and let it get to normal operating temperature. If the waterpump is good you should be able to see the coolant flowing thru the waterneck. I would also make sure you have nothing blocking the airflow to the radiator. It could be the radiator but i wouldnt check that until last. There usually the last thing to quit working properly with the cooling system. Theyll rust and rot away on the bottom before they quit cooling properly. You could also try flushing the system too. I noticed the car isnt on the original motor either. Everything hooked up properly? The next thing i would do is a leak down test. Not a compression check, but a leak down test. There 2 different things. If you do that, post the results and then go from there :talon:

I've had that problem and the wire that plugs into the fan came out. I think I drove it for a week or two before i fixed it with a simple snap of the plug.

thanks guys... im checking all those within the next couple days. (i dont have alot of time right now)
