I did a head change with a friend of mine. He set his jdm motors timing wrong so it skipped timing. Anyway We installed a 4 layerr mitsu and arp studs. We did a compression test b4 puting it all back together, 120-125 around all 4 is that good?

what could we have done wrong? I cleaned the block until i got basically all of the material from the old gasket off. Used a razor blade and throttlebody cleaner. Did the same with the head. then I cleaned the threaded holes on the block and put lube on the stud threads and installed them(tight by hand), put the washers in the head (with lube) and installed the gasket, then the head (cut the mount aswell). I torqued it 20ft, 40ft, 60 then 81ft of torque in the factory patern.(i also lubed the arp nuts) What did i do wrong?Timing is definitly right aswell.
