crazy backfire now gauge not working

alright so last night i went for a drive with one of my friends. i pulled out onto the road and decided to give it a rip in second gear. when i got up to redline all of a sudden i hear this machine gun sound from my exhaust. i immediately got off the gas and just kind of cruised in third. then i notice that now my defi BF boost gauge isnt reading anything. the gauge is alluminating but its not reading any boost or vaccum. the weird thing is that my EGT gauge is fine. Then i look down at my boost controller and its not reading anything either just straight zeros. What the hell happened and why would a backfire make my gauges and boost controller not get any readings?

Does the car still drive? IC pipes all connected?

Yea the car still drives great. No smoke. Intercooler pipes intact. The only thing thats funky is the gauge and boost controller reading not working.
