Resolved ISC motor or ICS motor?

ok, i thought our cars had idle speed control motors. but my shop around here replaced my ICS motor. im wondering, is there a difference? do our cars have both? or are they the same thing and people call them different things?

They are the same. They are called different things by different people. I call it the IAC, idle air controller, becasue that is what it does.
