One of the exhaust manifold studs broke today when i was pulling off the manifold. I was wondering if i drill and retapp it if the stock size stud will fit or if i will have to get a larger one. Also if you guys have any advice on this let me know. what have you all done when you break a stud, and if youve taken it somewhere how much did they charge to retapp it.

Take it to a machine shop, they should be able to get the stud out without damaging the threads.
If there are enough threads exposed on the stud, you can try the double nut trick---screw 2 nuts onto the stud & tighten them against each other, then use a wrench on the inside nut to unscrew the stud.
You can get a new stainless steel stud set at this link,
