Well after about 10 minutes of driving my car the damn heat seems to come on by itself. I have it shut off but heat comes rushing out of the vents as if it were on high. Thank God I can close my vents which is the only way im stopping myself from roasting but my feet are still killing me. Any else have this prob?? Or know why its doing this?

check to make sure that when you select cool air, the switch moves the air door. Coolant is always cycling through the heater core inside the car, but the only way to use heat or use cool air is by turning the HVAC dial which moves an air door. That would be my best guess. Also, is your car overheating because of the big FMIC? I doubt that would cause you to always have heat, but just checking.

I am not sure about it over heating since my temp gauge doesnt work in my car. I have to get one to make sure I am not, but it use to do the same thing before when I had my FMIC and temp gauge was working, just not as hot as it recently has been doin.
