I recently bought a 91 laser turbo and am having some problems with it.
The problem is when I am accelerating fast and I let my boost reach 10-13 psi.(in 3rd or 4th) my engine will cut out for a split second and my check engine light will come on. :thumbdown Then if I put it in N and rev the engine a little the check engine light will go off. It feels like a car that has a governer on it when it cuts out. It also idles weird when I stop at a stop light. It will go up and down between 1000 and 1500 rpm's. It will doo this for about 5 seconds then it will stop. but it does it every time I stop. I don't know if it has anything to do with the cutting out but any advise would help. People tell me it's an o2 sensor but I don't know for sure.
